Allen leads the business of Inovalis in the Middle East and the Gulf Cooperation Council. He manages the clients’ relationships, funds raising and oversee the structuring of the investments. Allen is an investment professional with an Islamic finance experience and a legal background. He has more than 15 years of advisory experience ranging from real estate investments, projects finance, structured products, capital markets, and investment funds. Prior to INOVALIS, Allen was an executive director, head of legal of The First Investor, the investment arm of Dukhan Bank. He worked in London and Paris in the Islamic Finance and Banking Department of the law firm Norton Rose Fullbright, and he won numerous awards and recognitions including the title ‘’Highly Commended General Counsel’’ (2015) and ‘’Investment Banking Legal Team of the Year’’ (2016). He holds a MSc Finance from ESCP Europe, France, a postgraduate degree in Banking and Capital Markets Law from Pantheon-Assas (Paris II), and a postgraduate degree in International Commercial Law from Aix-en-Provence University, France. He is a Certified Islamic Finance Advisor and Auditor by the AAOIFI. He is fluent in English, French and Arabic.
